Vogue Scandinavia has been the centre of attention for a while now. To many, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Vogue will give Scandinavia the global attention it has been longning for. Simultaneously, the team of the new magazine has been under a lot of pressure to create new, creative material with high standards. The latest issue released is the December and January-issue and we want to know: Who styled it?
Malaika Holmén, the covermodel, is dressed head-to-toe in Louis Vuitton. With green logo pants she sits in the Swedish nature (which must have been quite cold this time of the year). The main theme of this Issue is inclusion, diversity, gender fluidity and focuses on a new generation of Nordic talent. This is creatively shown with the looks presented on Holmén. Her suit is a mix of menswear garments, her shirt is menswear – well everything she is wearing technically was meant “for men”.
The person behind this cover is the Swedish stylist Tereza Ortiz who also is a Fashion Editor at Vogue Scandinavia. She has been working as a Fashion Editor since 2013 and as a stylist since 2014. With base in both Stockholm and London she has already been a stylist for H&M, Calvin Klein, Rodebjer andFarfetch. Not only has she been working with these companies, but she has also styled covers for Bon Magazine, V Magazine and Numero Berlin.
